He was predeceased by: his parents, William Waldo and Geneva Gay Twilla, Sr.; his brothers, James and Ronnie Joe Twilla; and his nephew Jay Twilla.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Ann Rush Twilla; his son Marcus (Andrea) of Memphis; his grandson William Twilla; his stepchildren, Josh Holliman (Melissa) of Bells and Grace Austin of Pocahontas; his stepgrandchildren, Lauryn Hope Threlkeld, Jada Austin and Nick Holliman; his stepgreat-grandson Everett Cobain Locke; and his sisters, Ronda Morgan of Greenville, TX and Janice Jackson (Dana) of Sardis, MS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
