He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Whitten and Margaret Whitten; and his brother James Whitten. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Whitten; his sons, Andy Whitten (Christina) and Daniel Whitten (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Madelyn and Aiden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Christian Brothers High School.
