She was predeceased by: her parents, James V. House and Minnie Roden House; and her sisters, Christine Easter, Kathleen Clay, Pauline Sutton, Bettye McCrosky and Mary Dearen.
She is survived by: her husband James F. Daniel, Sr. (Jim); her sons, James F. Daniel, Jr. (Angela), Jeffrey L. Daniel (Traci) and John S. Daniel, Sr. (Cindy); her grandchildren, Rhiannon Daniel, Andrew Daniel, Rhiannon Wooten (Josh), Brianna Sigler (Shawn), Taylor Daniel, Cameron Daniel, John Daniel, Jr. (Sommer), Jessica O'Steen (Jake), Justin Daniel (Kacie) and Jenny Wells (Jesse); and her siblings, Wanda Erstine (Philip), Jeri Smith (Robert) and James W. House (Linda). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Virginia H. Daniel.
