With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vester Tinsley of Memphis, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Vester left this world on December 18, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Tinsley and Alice Tinsley. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Tracy Hendrix (Stan) of Eads, TN, Cindy Wheeler (Mark) of Pipe Creek, TX and Richard Tinsley of Germantown, TN.; his grandchildren, Natasha Self (Grant), Andy Hendrix (Kayla), Rachel Dressman (Nick), Tristan Tinsley and Alyssa Tinsley; and his great grandchildren, Emerson Hendrix, Olivia Dressman and Beau Dressman.
Between Sundays, he loved racquetball and later tennis and pickleball, playing 4-5 days a week until age 85 when Covid finally slowed him down.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Harding School of Theology or White Station Church of Christ, Community Life Center Pickleball Program.
