She is survived by: her sons, Robert Buchanan, Jr., Harold Buchanan, Alan Buchanan (Christine), Johnny Buchanan (Shirley) and Dewayne Buchanan (Rebecca); and her siblings, Alice Spencer and Johnny Spencer. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
