He is survived by: his wife Florence P. Bowie; his children, Paige K. Bowie, Kellie N. Bowie, Shawonda Mitchell, Kevin Bowie and Nicholas D. Bowie; and his sisters, Norma Jean Jackson and Deborah Brewer.
