She was predeceased by: her husband J. R. Martin; her parents, George Kirkland and Edna Kirkland; and her siblings, Rose Mary, Bobbie, Pete and John.

She is survived by: her sons, Kenny Potts of Arlington, TN and Danny Potts of Jonesboro, AR; and her grandchildren, Austin, Dalton and Ashley.
