She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Samuel A. Monger, Jr. and Ruthanna Merker Monger (Fran); her siblings, Dr. Sam A. Monger III and Mary Jane Patton; and her sister-in-law Jane Monger.
She is survived by: her husband Jose Donjuan Mendez; her children, Patrick Wolf (Christy Bottoms) and Carolyn Ruth Wolf; her grandchildren, Angel Hernandez, Jack Wolf, Asa Wolf, Khloe Benson, Kali Benson and Jalen Benson, Jr.; her brothers, Dr. Michael C. Monger (Nancy) and John M. Monger (Patty); and her siblings-in-law, John Patton and Pat Monger. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis.
