He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Billingsley; his sons, Kenneth "Keith" Billingsley and Steven Joe Billingsley; and his brothers, Donald "Don" Joe Billingsley, Kenneth Ray Billingsley and David Billingsley.

He is survived by: his wife Lois Chrisp Billingsley of Memphis, Tennessee; and his daughter Christena Wade of Springhill, Tennessee. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
