Horeb; his stepchildren, Patricia Sessom, Jerry Rayford, Ruthie Brounson, Lena Jones, Mary Stewart, James Stewart and Maurice Stewart; and his siblings, Lizzie Austin (T. H.), Bernice Jones, Annie Sessom, Prinsetta Rayford, Beatrice Sessom (George), Lucy Sanders, Shirley Sanders, Deborah Richmond, Carl Rayford and James Earl Rayford. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
