It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Austin Yarbrough of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Charles Yarbrough; his wife Mary Yarbrough; and his siblings, V. J., Calvin, Charles Yarbrough, Mildred Fischer and Laverne Brown.

He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Yarbrough, Tony Yarbrough (Pam), Craig Yarbrough (Kaye) and Valerie Yarbrough; his grandchildren, Steve Yarbrough (Jamie), Adrianne Roy (Aaron), Andrew Yarbrough (Livia), Allison Carson, Davis Yarbrough (Meghan), Heather Kenser (Matt) and Amanda Burson; his great grandchildren, Eli Roy, Micah Roy, Josiah Roy, Asher Yarbrough, Finley, Hank Kenser, Jade Hubbard, Ashlyn and Aiden Burson; and his sister Oleta Yarbrough.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Gideons International.
