He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Olmstead and Dorothy Olmstead of Beebe, AR; and his brother Neal Olmstead (Carol Lynn Olmstead) of Cabot, AR. He is survived by: his wife Mackie of Memphis, TN; his daughters, Leigh Etters (Russell) of Eads, TN and Jennifer Cress (Keith); his brother Michael (Joyce) Olmstead; and his grandchildren, Sarah Etters of Cordova, TN, Cooper Etters, Hayden Etters (Jannah) of Virginia Beach, VA and Larry Cress (Ella Cress) of Gulfport, MS.
