She was predeceased by: her parents, Ophelia Davis and George Davis; her daughter Shirley Woods; her sisters, Earline Davis, Louise Davis and Hazel Pope; her sons-in-law, James Dean Dean and Charles Woods; her grandchildren, Christopher Harrell, Katraya Johnson, Victor Prince and Quincy Prince; and her brother George Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Johnson, Virginia Dean, Luvenia Johnson, Cynthia Johnson, Vorella Johnson (Carl), Dennis Johnson and Jessie Johnson; her brother James Davis; her siblings-in-law, Vera Jean Stewart (Columbia), Maria Echols, Armitte Price (Issac) and Booker T. Johnson (Lucy); and her friend Eula Allen (Sue).
