It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Morgan Edwin Ramsey Sr. (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan "Teany" Jones Ramsey and Kathryne "Kitty" Louise Prewett Ramsey; his sister Eloise Ramsey Bjornsen; and his great grandchild Trinity LaShea Ramsey. He is survived by: his children, Morgan Edwin "Rusty" Jr., Kenneth (Kenny), Merritt (Peggy) and Sarah Ann "Sandi" Ramsey McNeely (Keith Green); his wife Sally; and his grandson David Ramsey. He is also survived by his 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter as well as nephews, nieces, and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Canale Funeral Directors (2700 Union Ave Extended, Memphis, TN 38112). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (190 Adams Ave, Memphis, TN 38103-1922).
