She was predeceased by: her husband David D. Stuart; her parent Rachel Jones (David Stuart); her siblings, Dallas Jones and Shelby Faulkner; and her granddaughter Rachel Slone Claasen.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jerry Jones (Joan) and Linda Flowers (late Phillip Flowers); her children, Ami Wittber (John), Laura Slone McFarlin (Rob) and Dixon Stuart (Lynn); her grandchildren, Casey Slone Russell, Matt Stuart, Virginia Stuart, Joshua Wittber and Glynn Rachel Wittber; her great grandchildren, Tripp, Cate, John and Charlotte Russell; and her friend Nancy Meeks.
