He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hayes and Sarah Elizabeth "Sadie" Miller Wheatley; and his siblings, James Wheatley and Peggy Wadley. He is survived by: his wife Patricia King Wheatley of Henderson; his daughter Karol Jones (Bryan) of Henderson; and his grandchildren, Caitlin E. Jones and Benjamin E. Jones.
