A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral (700 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38105).
He was awarded a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship, an Earhart Foundation Fellowship, and a National Science Foundation Fellowship and received his PhD in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 1972.
