She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Roten and Lora Roten; her husband John Albert "John A" Laycook, Jr.; her brothers, Hillard Roten, Howard Roten and John Roten; her brothers-in-law, James Laycook and Billy Laycook; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Laycook.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila R Carman (Richard Carman) and Michael Laycook; her grandchildren, Lindsey Carman, KayLee Carman, Allie McDaniel (Tyler McDaniel) and Reed Laycook; and her great grandchild Ella McDaniel. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Baptist Reynolds Hospice House and/or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
