It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Eugene Porter of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnis A. Porter, Sr. and Malideen Norman Porter; and his sisters, Charlotte Mosby, Annette Joyner and Rebecca Anthony.
He is survived by: his children, Joanna Michelle Pierce of Independence, MS and Kevin Michael Porter of Cedar Bluff, AL; his grandchildren, Brigham Pierce of Independence, MS, Crimson Pierce of Independence, MS, Auburn Pierce of Independence, MS and Aggie Pierce of Independence, MS; his siblings, Berneice Hopkins (Sonny) of Madisonville, TN, Burnis A. Porter, Jr. of Arlington, TN, Robert Porter of England and Margaret Rogers (Wayne) of Georgia; and also Jari Eriksson of Finland.
