Kathy Pyron Hanson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy Pyron Hanson of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gracie Green and Eural Pyron; her siblings, Patsy Tilson, Shirley Duncan, Bobby Pyron, Roger Pyron, Jimmy Pyron and Betty Pyron; and her pets, Bandit, MoJo and Sophie.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Smith (Laura Smith) of Bartlett, John "Bubba" Caldwell (Mandy Mottern) of Lakeland, Kesha Caldwell of Memphis and Jason Caldwell of Memphis; her grandchildren, Gavin Smith, Peyton Smith, Gracie Rooker, Taylor Rooker, Carter Rooker and Cassie Caldwell; and her brothers, Don Pyron, Rick Pyron and Chuck Pyron.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Covington Funeral Home (3499 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite animal charity, in honor of Kathy's lifelong love for her four-legged companions.
