It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia (Judy) Stokes Sayle of Memphis, Tennessee, born in Marion, Arkansas, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Olive Fogleman Stokes and Robert W. Stokes; her husband Raymond H. Sayle; her sister Mary Stone Stokes; her grandson Graham Locke; and her son-in-law Dr. Louis Pack.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Robbins Molloy (Mike) of Marion, AR and Jo Ellen Robbins McMahon (Kevin) of Tuscaloosa, AL; her stepdaughters, Linda Sayle Pack of Atlanta and Lucy Sayle Locke (Ben) of Nashville; her grandchildren, Jill McPhearson (Jimmy), Michael Molloy (Joy), Matt Molloy, Kylie Johnson (Austin), Kate McMahon, Todd Locke, Clark Locke (Nicole), Weston Locke, Jeff Pack (Alison) and Steve Pack (Elinor); her great grandchildren, Jules, Jude McPhearson, Max, Sam Molloy, James, Mac, Olivia Johnson, Maddox, Lucy Locke, Ben, McKenzie, Piper Locke, Elle, Pierce Locke, Heaven, Jedidiah Pack, Frannie and Smith Pack; her siblings, Charlotte Earwood (Dana) and Bob Stokes (Barbara); and her cousin Parties. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lord's Chapel at Elmwood Cemetery (824 S Dudley St, Memphis, TN 38104). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
