She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Vanderford and Luna Gertrude "Gertie" Vanderford; and her son Alvin H. Jackson, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Terry Jackson, Thomas Jackson and Jon Jackson; her sister Guinevere Baxter; and her grandchildren, Thomas O. Jackson, Jr., Sunny Ann Brown and Christopher Jackson. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
