Joseph Phillip Fraser Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Phillip Fraser of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Josephine Smith Fraser; his wife Audrey Fraser; his stepchildren, Edward Beyersdorf and Susan Lloyd; his brothers, John Fraser and James Fraser (Jimmy); and his great grandchild Samuel Beyersdorf.
He is survived by: his stepsons, John Beyersdorf (Nancy) of Saginaw, James Beyersdorf (Diana) of Munford, Tennessee, Allen Beyersdorf (Lisa) of Bartlett, Tennessee and Bruce Beyersdorf (Michele) of Atoka, Tennessee.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, a host of great and great-great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125). A reception was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (3743 Austin Peay Hwy, Memphis, TN 38128).
