He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Hardesty; his parents, Joseph Donner Hardesty, Sr. and Helen Francis Pope Hardesty; and his brother Eugene Hardesty. He is survived by: his children, JoAnne Henegar (Bob), Brad Hardesty, Lisa Mosier (Allan), Carla Smith (Clay), Pam Barthel (David), Robert Little and Steve Metcalf. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
