He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth McCaughan Morrison and W. P. "Buddy" Morrison; and his father-in-law Claude Hollis Hill. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Hill Morrison; his children, Jennifer Morrison Miller (Trip) of Memphis, Claudette Morrison Hawkins (Brad) of Greenwood, MS and John "Buddy" Tarlton Morrison, Jr. of Memphis; his grandchildren, Ann Hollis Hawkins, Dorothy Grace Miller, Mimsie Morrison Hawkins and Maclin Lee Miller; and his brothers, William Price Morrison, Jr. (Gray) of Memphis and Joseph McCaughan Morrison (Brandon) of Memphis. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews, and seventeen great nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the many doctors, nurses, and caregivers who have cared for John.; The family requests that all memorials be sent to Christ Methodist Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
