He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Palazola; his son John Christopher Palazola; his parents, Sam Palazola and Cecelia Palazola; and his sisters, Veta Barber, Rosalee Paxton and Teresa Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Palazola Howard and Donna Smith; his grandchildren, Helen LeAnne Howard, Kella Smith and Kaylin Smith; his great grandchildren, Jazmyn Howard, Ethan Sewell and CheyAnne Sewell; and his siblings, Catherine McDaniel, Fred Palazola and Vince Palazola.
