She was predeceased by: her husband Bob; and her parents, Herbert Rooney and Linnie Rooney. She is survived by: her sons, Chip Averwater (Jan) of Lakeland, Chuck Averwater (Nancy) of Collierville, Jim Averwater (Kristi) of Murfreesboro and Pat Averwater (D'Ann) of Lakeland; and her grandchildren, Robbie Averwater, Lee Averwater, Nick Averwater (Ashley), Jami Averwater (Alan Brown), Briana Appleton (Max), Taylor Day and Colby Day. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
