It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Flaherty Stewart (Memphis, Tennessee), born in West Bend, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 20, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Anne Thweatt of Germantown, TN, Bob Stewart (Diana), Tom Stewart (Theresa) of Memphis, John Stewart (Cindy) of Libertyville, IL, Mary Lucchesi (Paul) of Memphis and Andrew Stewart of Memphis; her brothers, John Flaherty of St. Louis, MO and Stephen Flaherty of Montello, WI; her son David Stewart of Memphis; her grandson Reed Stewart of Libertyville, IL; and her brothers, Jim Flaherty of Manitowoc, WI, Dan Flaherty of La Crosse, WI and Tom Flaherty of Montello, WI. She is also survived by grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
