With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jewell Eldridge Burnette (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away on February 13, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Burnette; his son David Burnette; his parents, John Ross and Ruby Burnette; and his siblings, Gertrude Thompson and Alfred Burnette.

He is survived by: his sons, John Burnette (Mary) of Bartlett, TN and Bo Burnette (Becky) of Drummonds, TN; and his daughter-in-law Lauren Galimore of Enterprise, AL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in his memory to Berclair Baptist Church, 4584 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122.
