He is survived by: his mother Marty Garrett; his stepfather Gerald Garrett; his father Jerroll Henry Shipman, Sr.; his sisters, Dana Evans (Bill), Sunny McWilliams (Joe) and Kim Chassion; his nieces, Madison Friesen (Joel), Lily Evans and Josie McWilliams; his nephew Slaton Evans (Blake); and his goddaughter Brenna Pulliam.

Donations can be made in honor of Mr. Shipman to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
