She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Arthur Currie and Linnye Trobaugh Currie; her husband Coy Oxley Woodward; and her brother Robert Daniel Currie. She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Boyd (Newton "Buddy"), Joyce Woodward and Janie Duncan (Russell); and her grandchildren, Elaine Twisdale (Keith), Grace Clarkson (Jake) and Ashely Riley (James). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to Leawood Baptist Church.
