He is survived by: his wife Jerice Massie of Memphis; his daughters, Shemeka Partee of Cordova, TN and Lakweshia Ewing (Julian) of Chattanooga, TN; his granddaughter Madison Partee of Cordova; his siblings, Virginia Sharp of Memphis, Louise Blair (Ira) of Memphis, Shirley Massie of Memphis, Charlotte McGowen of Nesbit, MS, Virgie Massie of Nesbit, MS, Sandra Merriweather (Eric), Freddie McGowen (Dorothy) of Memphis, Terry McGowen (Yetta) of Milwaukee, WI and Steven McGowan (Tawanda); and his godchildren, Elder Marcus A. Sharp, LaKerry Moore, Lawrence L. Moore, Laquita R. Moore-House, Jose L. Moore and Zephan S. Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
The family asks that memorial contributions in honor of Mr. James Willie Massie be made to a fund for his beloved granddaughter, Madison Jade Partee.
