With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Henry Lewis of Memphis, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024 at the age of 63. As we bid adieu to James Henry's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration James Henry has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Lewis; his daughter Katrina Lewis; his siblings, Horace Lewis, Calvin Lewis, Marie Lewis and La'Sha Williamson; his stepchildren, Christian Horton, Courtney Hortoh and Curtis Lee Thomas Jr.; and his grandchildren, Braylon Thomas and Kylon Thomas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:55 AM at the Millington Funeral Home, Inc. (7738 Church St, Millington, TN 38053). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125).
