He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lola Wilder and John Wendell Atkins, Sr.; his wife Norma Atkins; his children, Renée Karban (Larry) of Memphis and Stephen Atkins (Ellen) of Memphis; his grandchildren, Blake Karban (Krystal), Drew Karban (Morgan), Rachel Montague (Ross), Stephanie Atkins (Maxx Young) and Lauren Atkins; his great grandchildren, Emma, Camille Karban and Rhodes Karban; his grandchildren, Lacey, James and Davy Montague; his niece Nancy Evans (Don); and his nephew John Atkins (Dana) of Nashville.
