He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Mays; his children, Quinisha L. Mays and James Kirk Mays; and his sisters, Lavenia Mays Frazier, Elain Mays Owens, Alfreda Watkins and Evia Lee Fields. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the N. H. Owens and Son Funeral Home (421 Scott St, Memphis, TN 38112). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125).
