It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivy Lousie Mathis (Memphis, Tennessee), born in Ripley, Mississippi, who passed away on August 25, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur C. Mathis; her parents, Joe Meeks and Lessie Crum Meeks; her siblings, Leo Meeks, Flora Walker, Flossie Mauney, Birdie Mae Meeks and Geneva Null; and also, Carolyn Meeks, Annie Mae Meeks, Joe Morphis and Johnny Mathis.
She is survived by: her children, Randy C. Mathis (Ann) of Collierville, TN, Barbara Sue Harrison (Vincent) of Wichita and Tammy Renee Hiatt (Harold); her grandchildren, Zack Hiatt (Maizey), Taylor Hiatt, Rodney Harrison (Catherine), Jason Harrison (Kelly) and Heather Jones (Sean); her siblings, Burton Meeks of Middleton, TN and Doris Henry (Robert) of Ripley, MS; and also, Onetter Morphis of Walnut, Olivia Mathis of Walnut, Minnie Nelson and Bill Nelson of Corinth. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
