With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ida Seay of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on April 16, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Ida departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ida may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ida leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Booker T. Stills and Alice Phillips.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Day Adventist Church (685 E Mallory Ave, Memphis, TN 38106). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
