She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lincoln Mason, II and Sadie Mae Walker. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth W. Cole; her children, Jerome T. Austin of Birmingham, Alabama, Jovan Bobo (Lemarquis) of Cordova, Tennessee, Jatara Shirley (Mike) of Southaven, Mississippi and Kennedy Cole-Smith (Emmanuel) of Memphis, Tennessee; and her siblings, Gerald Mason of Birmingham, Alabama, Jerolyn Brower (Sam) of Durham and Carla Bynum (Claude) of Memphis, Tennessee. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
