Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Harry Walker Wellford (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away at the age of 96, on April 17, 2021. He was predeceased by: his former wife Katherine; and his sister Roberta Wellford West. He is survived by: his children, Harry Jr. (Amanda Wellford), Beasley Wellford, Buckner Wellford, Jennifer Wellford Sink, Kate Wellford Gould (Allison) and Tommy Parker; his sisters, Julia Wellford Allen (Ray) and Mary Wellford Ford (Bill); his cousins, Bob Turner and Harry; and his wife Shirley. He is also survived by grandchildren and three (soon to be four) great-grandchildren.
The same goes for David Howard, who met Harry only two years ago but spent innumerable hours when COVID lockdown issues necessitated Harry staying with his daughter Kate.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be directed to Idlewild Presbyterian Church, St. Mary's Episcopal School, or a charity of the donor's choice.
