Gus B Denton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2025, at the age of 84, Gus B Denton (Memphis, Tennessee) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gus B Denton to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gus shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gus farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Candy Denton; his daughters, Catherine Denton Wilfong (John) and Mary Denton Sensing (Ben); his grandsons, Jonathan Wilfong, Bennett Wilfong (Weldon), Luke Wilfong, Benjamin Sensing (Susanna) and Gus Denton Sensing; and his brothers, Will Denton and Charles "Chip" Denton.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Independent Presbyterian Church (4738 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, TN 38117).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Christ Covenant Reformed Church, 1779 Kirby Parkway.
