Gertrude Coors Sheaffer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2021, at the age of 93, Gertrude Coors Sheaffer (Memphis, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Giles Augustus Coors and Gertrude Russell Coors; her brothers, George Alcorn and Giles Augustus Jr.; her husband John Dunlap Sheaffer; and her children, John Dunlap Sheaffer Jr. (Kathy), Virginia Sheaffer Kemp (Harry), Carolyn Sheaffer Masterson (Daniel) and Russell Walter Sheaffer (Vicki). She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be sent to the Coffeen Land Trust, 146 Coffeen Hill Road, Four Mile Village, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459 or The Sheaffer Pen Museum, 627 Avenue G, Fort Madison, Iowa 52627.
