He was predeceased by: his parent Hattie Pugh; and his sister Brenda Bariola. He is survived by: his wife Sara Pugh of Oxford, MS; his children, Julie Downer (John) of Madison, MS, Brad Pugh (Lauren) of Oxford, MS and Evan Pugh (Alyssa) of Fort Worth, TX; his brothers, Lee Pugh of Leland, MS and Butch Pugh of Cleveland, MS; and his grandchildren, John Gelston "Jack" Downer, III, James Leland Downer, Saylie Parker Miller, Bradley Collier Pugh, John Ryan Pugh and A. J. Segars Pugh.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waller Funeral Home & Cremation Services (419 MS-6, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
