He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mauney of Leland, MS.; his children, Pamela Mauney Laszacs-Burkey (Martin Burkey) and Gene Martis Mauney, Jr.; his grandchildren, Stanley Laszacs and Thomas Burkey; and his siblings, Bonnie Mauney (Sandra Mauney), Arthur Mauney (Lanell Mauney), Guy Mauney, Evelyn Winstead, Edith Ridge (Wayne Ridge) and Shelby Mauney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
