She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Robinson James; her parents, William Woolridge Dillard and Frances Cooke Dillard; and her brother Bill Dillard. She is survived by: her children, David James of Memphis, Frances James Metheny of Memphis, Carol James of Memphis, Dr. Tom James (Yvette) of Billings, MT and Cathy James (Judy) of Riverview, FL.; her grandchildren, Frank Hanney (Kelly), Kate Hall (Luke), Sarah, Shannon (Tom), Hayden James and Tyler "Wren" Meagley; and her great grandchildren, Violet Hanney, Ramona Hall and James August Hall.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church (203 S White Station Rd, Memphis, TN 38117). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Dining Hall (650 E Pkwy S, Memphis, TN 38104).
