It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest LeRoy Creech (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Lucas and Walter A. Creech; his brothers, Percy, James (Ruth), Edward and Tom (Joe); and his wife Bernice Hammons.

He is survived by: his daughter Sandy Creech; and his siblings-in-law, May Jewell Hammons and Bobby Hammons. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel (5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
