She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Love and Fannie Boone Love; her sister Jimmie Lue Hall; and her children, Clinton Jr., Fannie Lee, Clarence Edward, Norris Dale and Frank.
She is survived by: her sister Bessie Lee Brock; her significant other Clinton King, Sr.; her children, Mary Gladys, Lawrence Travis, Annie Vera and Morris Roberson; and her significant other's son Frank Eddie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends.
To ensure that her children had a firm foundation in the Word of God, Emma attended Riverside Missionary Baptist Church, officially joining in 1957.
