Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Emily Dacus Prescott of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 81, on October 27, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Dacus and Nell Dacus; and her son David Ted Prescott. She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Parr (Herbert "George"); her grandchildren, David Hill, Tommy Prescott, Ricky Prescott and Heather Coulston; and her great grandchildren, Katelyn Hill, Riley Prescott, Ophelia Prescott, Zayne Long, Ben Prescott, Owen Prescott, Ricky Prescott, Jr., Joshua Coulston and Leland Coulston.

In honor of Emily's memory, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Arbor Day Foundation.
