We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2021, at the age of 85, Ellen Robinson Shirley (Memphis, Tennessee), born in Shaw, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Leroy "Lee" Shirley; her parents, Hazel Oneta Robinson Hood and Woodrow Wilson Robinson; and her siblings, Wilson Daniel "Dan" Robinson, Alan Wayne Robinson, Jesse Jackson "Jack" Hale, Jr., Linda Hood Baxter and Lawrence Wesley "Bo" Hood.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Shirley Turman of Piperton, TN; her grandson William Darby Turman of Nashville; and her siblings, Barbara Robinson Foster of Fairhope, AL, Beverly Robinson Palmer of Leland, MS, Brenda Robinson Parker of Winnfield, LA and Gary Wilson Robinson of Shaw, MS. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
