She is survived by: her son James A. Bowers Jr. "Chip"; her grandson Justin J. Bowers; and her great grandchild Autumn Noelle Bowers. She is also survived by loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lewis & Sons Funeral Home (2944 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, TN 38111). Viewing will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:55 AM at the Greer Chapel Ane Church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greer Chapel AME Church (3205 Chelsea Ave, Memphis, TN 38108). A burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memphis National Cemetery (3568 Townes Ave, Memphis, TN 38122).
