David Franklin Dennison Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Franklin Dennison of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was born March 14, 1962 at Tinker AFB, Ok to the late Wilson F. Dennison, Jr. and Martha Day Dennison, Salem, WV. He is survived by his son, Jesse P. Dennison and wife, Maggie Farra, Houston, TX; ; and his daughter, Emalee S. Wooten and husband, Blake Wooten, San Antonio, TX . Also, surviving are two brothers, Douglas K. Dennison, Horn Lake, MS and Michael L. Dennison, Dayton, OH.

Dave worked the last forty years in the pizza business, primarily Papa Johns. He held management positions in New Orleans, LA, Cleveland, TX, Wake Forest, NC and Memphis, TN. He also worked in Long Island, NY and Paterson, NJ. He graduated from Fairmount West High School, Kettering, OH in 1980 and International Broadcasting School, Dayton, OH in 1981.
